Yesterday, I was chatting to Dave after the class,
as we talked
he asked if I had seen the programme on the TV
about lifestyle and living longer with Angela Rippon
I said no, but I would look it up.
and I did, on my return home, 

Found it

"How to Stay Young"

They did a test that they recommend for ageing
looking at balance, strength

so I thought I'd give it a go.
No laughing but here's my attempt.

Lifestyle & stress are the biggest drivers.
To how we age before our time
No real shock to me
that ageing is Lifestyle driven..

fact that ageing is
75% lifestyle and only 25% genes, as many people would also say it's in my genes!.
well maybe not as much as you thought.

This is what I call Toffee,
But are you toffee?

Most people focuses on weight loss
but fatloss is the important one,  that was highlighted
in the programme with Angela Rippon scan results,
Her internal organs were heavy surrounded with visceral fat.
and that is lifestyle driven and more importantly
you can do something about it now.

So are you toffee?
hard on the outside
but soft on the inside? = Toffee

Fatloss looks at inches lost on the inside
not numbers on the scales on the outside. 
Scales are for fish not people 
But we have been programme, conditioned to jump on the scales!
for years and years.

This is Julia who I've mentioned before, that has done my
lifestyle programme and is now on a maintenance programme.

HUGE success
I would just like to say a massive thank you to the ladies that took time out of their Sunday to travel to Solihull to our Workshop with 15 other ladies.
From as far afield as Gloucester and Nuneaton, and both these ladies were physio's .

Hello Jayne

Just a quick email to say thank you for the Menopause Workshop on Sunday. Fiona, Hazel and yourself were great, you obviously know your stuff, thanks for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. I appreciate the hard work that it is to put together a new course. Also, it is very reassuring to know that we are not alone if dealing with the issues that the menopause will bring, that there is someone to talk to and point us in the right directi...on to get answers.

I talked to my friend at work and she is very interested. I am sure that a lot of other women, of a certain age would be too.
