WHAT IS this Functional FITNESS PILATES?
Functional Fitness Pilates is a more modern approach to the traditional mat based pilates sessions. It still applies the same principles but also involves a more up to date scientific approach to functional movement that we use in everyday life. As science moves on and develops so should we with our workouts, as we know much more about how the body moves and functions.
Lifting, turning, bending, reaching, twisting, kneeling, balancing to name but a few and these are used and more in-keeping with our busy lifestyles.
My FFitness Pilates sessions consist of a warm up, standing exercises and floor exercises, all of which are designed with the element of mind, body and fitness. Using small equipment like mini balls, bands and your own body weight as resistance, all of which are brilliant for preventing the onset of osteoporosis.
Fitness Pilates is a brilliant form of exercise, as its weight bearing and gentle but can be challenging at the same time.
Fitness Pilates flow and positivity promotes a healthy body and mind, good posture, experience the blissful release & relaxation work, promoting a strong back and abdominal muscles, inner strength, toned muscles, increased mobility, flexibility, co-ordination, focus, balance with huge positive thoughts while having fun.
